About the Founder
Hi, I’m Nicole Oziel (she/her)! I’m the Founder and Creative Director of Awkward Turtle Studios. Based in Orillia, Ontario, I offer services in video production, video editing and photography.
I’m fascinated by stories, their creation process, their capacity to preserve memories, and their profound ability to both reflect and shape reality.
I work with purpose-driven entrepreneurs, social enterprises, non-profits and organizations to elevate their brand and impact through authentic, emotion-centric storytelling. My mission is to use the power of storytelling to inspire positive social impact and advocate for social justice from an intersectional perspective.
I employ narrative storytelling techniques to create emotion-centric stories that drive impact.
