Hi, I’m Nicole Oziel (she/her)! I’m the Founder and Creative Director of Awkward Turtle Studios. Based in Orillia, Ontario, I offer services in video editing and video production.
I’m fascinated by stories, their creation process, their capacity to preserve memories, and their profound ability to both inform perspectives and shape reality.
I work with production companies, film directors, non-profits, social enterprises, and purpose-driven organizations to craft impactful and emotion-centric stories. My mission is to use the power of storytelling to inspire positive social impact and advocate for social justice from an intersectional perspective.
Passionate about intersectional social justice, social impact, nature, and accessibility.
When I’m not creating videos you can find me reading about plants, walking in forests, gardening or baking a delicious treat.
